The specially designed menu showcases refined, seasonal dishes such as Guernsey crab tortellini, chateaubriand to share and pan-roasted turbot, followed by indulgent desserts made for sharing, including an assiette of chocolate and passion fruit soufflé. Thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, this elegant dining experience is designed to be lingered over, making it an unforgettable way to celebrate together.

Adding to the romance, guests dining will be serenaded throughout the evening by wonderful local singer Emily Fern.

Fizz and chips

Arrive at The Old Government House at 6.15pm, where a glass of chilled Lanson Champagne and delicate canapés await. From here, board a charming vintage bus for a scenic journey across the island, arriving at the sweeping sands of Cobo Bay by 7.30pm. Settle into deckchairs on the beach and enjoy classic fish and chips, perfectly paired with more Champagne.

As the sun slips below the horizon, linger a little longer with an elegant selection of Afternoon Tea style desserts, served alongside another sparkling pour. With the sea breeze in your hair and the sky glowing gold, return to the hotel at 8.30pm, carrying the memory of a truly Guernsey evening.

Travel back to Guernsey in 1858, as Mr and Mrs Gardner welcome you to the opening of Gardner’s Old Government House Hotel. Join them for an evening of celebration in the grand dining room, where elegance meets intrigue.

Begin with drinks overlooking the sea, before taking your seat in the Regency for a beautifully crafted three-course dinner. As the evening unfolds, a crime will be committed… and it is up to you to uncover the truth.

Easter Sunday Lunch

Gather with family and friends for a relaxed Easter Sunday lunch in the elegant surroundings of The Old Government House Hotel.
