Post-Show Gig: Mike Meinke at The Crown Club

Part of the Global Collection Festival, this intimate live set showcases a Guernsey-based guitarist and songwriter whose genre-wandering sound moves effortlessly between folk, blues, hip-hop, psychedelia and rock.

Known for his distinctive percussive guitar style, his songwriting can be thoughtful and philosophical one moment, playful and irreverent the next. Stripped back to just one voice and one guitar, his solo performances put the focus firmly on the music, storytelling and musicianship.

Expect an eclectic, characterful set that refuses to sit neatly within one genre — and a relaxed live performance perfectly suited to the festival atmosphere.
