There is no better place to enjoy traditional English Afternoon Tea than sitting back in our Palace Lounge overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace. The pastry kitchen at The Rubens is led by our talented pastry chef Sarah Houghting, who produces the freshest pastries and cakes for our guests to enjoy. Sarah also recently competed in Bake Off: The Professionals on Channel 4.
With a reputation as one of the best in London, we pay respect to this classic British tradition whilst incorporating fresh twists along the way. Children are especially welcome on Sunday lunchtimes, when Father Christmas will be waiting to welcome families. The three-hour children’s pass includes a delicious festive platter, two non-alcoholic drinks tokens for the bar (for children over 12), a 'create your own' hot chocolate, a chocolate fountain and children’s activities.
